VESTA - Boeing 737 Next Generation Family

VESTA - Boeing 737 Next Generation Family

The Boeing 737 Next Generation family serves a vital role in the VESTA network. The 737-800 is the most common aircraft in the VESTA domestic fleet and serves most of our hubs across the United States to some of our most popular destinations. Alongside the 737-800, the 737-900ER serves some of our busiest routes between our major hubs, whilst our 737-700 fleet operates solely out of New York LaGuardia, along with our VESTA Connect network.

Love the tail, but what’s with the text size and location? What does “VESTA” even mean?

Not every livery with a grey line is a copy of Qantas

I agree the text needs to be moved more towards the nose of the aircraft. Maybe add a gradient to the tail and also make the grey line smaller.

Mate, tell me another airline with a gray line like that on their livery.

The original design request was based on making it similar to Qantas so I willingly accept that!

I am working on the text for the 2018 livery. Never did find a solution that I really really liked. And it is a name I inherited after taking the airline from someone else. The name is from the Roman goddess of the hearth, and so there is a lot of relation to a flame or fire, so I probably should have done something based on that, but like I said, this design is based on what was requested of me last year.

Nice, although I do prefer the way the livery looked on the a320s, it is good to see Vesta again. And I do have to agree with gjwhite14 about the text placement.

Definitely will be something I work on for the 2018 livery. VESTA does operate A321-200 and A321NEO aircraft so hopefully you will get to see those soon!

Yeah that's exactly what I want to see when I'm sitting in the departure lounge looking out at the plane I'm about to fly into the sky onboard. Flames.

Haha maybe not quite. Maybe more in terms of colour scheme. Rather than blue, a red/orange/yellow. I will probably keep it as it is though as I make the liveries for different eras.
