MidAmerican Airlines celebrated Disney-Pixar's newest movie, "Coco" with a special livery unveiled in December 2017, with artwork inspired by designs in the movie. The aircraft, named Alebrije after the guide-protectors that appeared in the film and in Oaxacan culture, will fly among MidAmerican's over 200 U.S. destinations and even more throughout Central America and the Caribbean, promoting the movie and MidAmerican's sponsorship. Carrying over 140 million passengers a year, MidAmerican connects people everyday to what is important in their lives, and the airline aims to connect its customers to a new, brilliant story that is both exciting and inspiring.
