TravelAir was founded in late 1989 and commenced operations on Jan. 1st, 1990. Its first aircraft, an MD-83, was used every day between CLT and IAD. Seen here is the first aircraft in the original TravelAir livery. All of TravelAir's MD-80's were already retired by 1995.
