Kavim Israeli Airlines Boeing 767-300ER | 4X-EMB

Kavim Israeli Airlines Boeing 767-300ER | 4X-EMB

In 2005, after a major restructuring plan, Kavim Israeli Airlines announced the completion of its rebrand process, showcasing an update to the livery, type, and logo. The airline decided to drop the "Israeli Airlines" titles from its English logo, with the main logo stating "Kavim" with smaller subtitles stating "Israeli Airlines", while the Hebrew titles stayed the same. A new font was introduced, chosen to emphasis Kavim's bold identity and focus on both moving forward and always improving to stay at the forefront of passenger comfort and security. Meanwhile, the Flying Star logo was changed from its previous monotone colorscheme to its two-tone logo today. Finally, a two-tone flowing livery was created, inspired by the rolling hills of Israel, from the Negev in the South, through the Judaean Mountains and Jordan Valley, up to the Galilee.

Along with the rebrand, Kavim released a new Business Class product, starting with its Boeing 767-300ER fleet; lie-flat seats in a 2-2-2 configuration were debuted, over the previous 2-2-2 recliner seat configuration, and the Boeing 777-200ER fleet received the same seats in a 2-3-2 configuration. Eventually, these seats were replaced by reverse herringbone seats in the mid-2010s.

Kavim's Boeing 767-300ER fleet was the first to be repainted, with 4X-EMB being the first to debut at the rebrand ceremony in 2006. Kavim's Boeing 767-300ER fleet regularly spans its entire network, flying to cities such as Boston, Chicago and Montreal in North America, London and Paris in Europe, Nairobi and Johannesburg in Africa, and Mumbai and Beijing in Asia.

4X-EMB was configured with 28 Business Class seats and 191 Economy Class seats, before its conversion to a freighter in 2018.

I take it Israeli-Iraqi relations have thawed somewhat then?

This very much reminds me of Iraqi airways! I like it though.
