In the mid 70's, with the introduction of the A300B2 and B4, those two aircraft took over high density routes that the Convair previously took care of. The Convairs were given less dense routes in Europe and especially Africa / Middle East. The aircraft went through a much busier schedule compared to their previous lives. Hellenic repainted them in the early 70's to what is imaged above, the standard 70's livery.
