Acro DC9 1979-94 Livery

Acro Airways McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30

2x JT8D-9 engines

Configured 112Y

In 1979, Acro Airways began operations out of Detroit Metro International Airport with a fleet of two McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30 aircraft. N930AO, the second DC-9 to enter the fleet, is shown here. It started flying DTW-IND-DTW-ORD-DTW, the airline's first two routes, along with its sister aircraft N929AO. This aircraft was retired in November 1999 and scrapped in 2001. This aircraft never saw the airline's next livery, which was introduced in 1994.

I have never done a retro livery quite like this. I know the tail is a bit ugly right now, so I am hoping for some suggestions in the comments.

    Nice :awesome:

    This is lovely.

Hello Acro my old friend, I've come to admire you again   ^_^

My suggestion for the tail is to move the logo forward. That way, you won't have it split by the stabilizer. Other than that, this is pretty nice ^_^
