In 2013, Glacier Airlines launched "melt", a low-cost carrier aimed the lucrative Canadian leisure market. Formed using two leased Boeing 737-700s and two Boeing 767-300s transferred from its parent company, the airline now operates 50 aircraft and serves several dozen destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, South America, Central America, Mexico and the United States. The airline's namesake is a play on its parent company's name and a reference to the typically warm leisure destinations the airline serves.

Despite being a separate brand, melt's route network and operations are fully integrated into that of its parent company. As a result, it's not too uncommon to see a melt flight operated by mainline Glacier aircraft and vice-versa. Unlike its parent company's use of the A320 family, melt's workhorse is the 737NG series. Part of the reason for this is to gradually make the 737 family the core of Glacier's medium-haul operations, as the A320 series is slated to be replaced by 737 MAX aircraft by 2020.

This is the fiftieth livery I've posted - man, time flies. B)
