Boeing 717 200; 2013-

After ten years of service, Spitfire management went looking for a new livery. Rejecting the usual white billboard liveries, management wanted something bold and unmistakable. After a lengthy design phase, one of Spitfire's 717s was painted in the new livery and rolled out to the public. This livery will eventually be adopted throughout the fleet.

LCC/Charter-ish but I like! Could maybe use a different font?

Colors and font are quite awful. Also strange placement of alliance logo...

It's a logo I found online for some sorta thing... I liked it, and it's different than the previous livery, which is what I wanted.

Where would you put the logo?  I figure it's by the door so customers can see it as they board.

for the record I was talking about the font not the logo :P

Also, the alliance logo typically goes between the last cockpit window and L1 door and is usually slightly smaller than the cockpit window size. It is, however, different with the 717

Some have their alliance logo on the F1 door. Some have it where it is now but a bit smaller. I think the latter would work here by shrinking the logo a little and moving it down so the top of it is level with the top of the F1 door.

Working on this right now, I reduced the alliance decal to 75% of it's size, but it looked goofy on the door (both on the 717 and the A319) so I've left it where it's at.

Regarding the font, I kinda like it, but if I changed it, I'd lose the billboard-type display and it would be smaller and over the windows like most airlines... thoughts?

Mate, you ruined a perfect livery. Just slaughtered it.

The DC-9, MD-80, 717 etc have long been the exception to this because of the lack of proper room for the logo to go.1360214.jpg?v=v40
