Air Bengal 787

Air Bengal has its origins in B.E.A.C - Bengal Empire Airways Corporation when it began operations in Calcutta in 1931, today it is still based in Kolkata with major hubs at Delhi and Mumbai and is the largest privately owned carrier in India. It also owns 15% of Nepal based Himalayan Airlines and leases 3 Airbus A319s to the airline and is currently in discussions to lease an A330 to them on a seasonal basis.

This livery was unveiled in 2010 on the Boeing 777 and has since been applied to the whole fleet.

Air Bengal used A320 series on the short and domestic flights, A330s for medium and the 777 and 787 for long haul operations.
