N733XS- Boeing 737-300 'Bluebonnet Livery' Current Use
Following the response of the patrons of the Limited Edition, AirTexas created a permenant solution. The current scheme nicknamed the
"Bluebonnet",due to the resemblance of the color of the famous Texas Bluebonnets, was a hit! The new livery consists of a light blue body,
emphasizing a wave of white and grey, compliment the Map of Texas and Star on the tail. This Boeing 737-300, the first delivered to the
airline, was the first aircraft painted in this scheme. AirTexas's fleet of Boeing 737-300s consists of 4 First, 14 Business, and 115
Economy seats as well as the first to include Audio and Video on Demand. The state of the art, factory new jets will being replacing
older DC-8s, DC-9s, and 737-100,200,adv's. The phasing out process is expected to be complete by 1990.
